This Juanita Beach condo had two bedrooms serving distinct functions. The master needed to be romantic and cozy, while the guest bedroom – also the owner’s home office – needed to offer a sense of sanctuary.
For the master bedroom interior design, we incorporated rich, sensual colors that would enhance her sense of privacy and luxury, creating her own oasis. French doors were added, opposite the bed, which opened onto a widow’s walk overlooking the creek below and a lush growth of trees. The fresh breezes added an important element of relaxation. A vintage armoire was found and refinished to hide the TV, giving the client a memorable private retreat.
In the guest bedroom, cabinets were installed to create a fully functional office for her work as an insurance agent. Then, when company was expected, the work space would seamlessly disappear and the room would become beautifully designed sleeping quarters.
